Casting Classes
We teach various casting techniques in our studio - which includes stone in place sand casting, cuttlefish, and water and organic casting. We also teach the method of putting gemstones directly into molten metal. Each casting technique produces completely different results. The beauty of most of these techniques is that if you are not happy with the results, you can simply melt it down and try again.
Once you are satisfied with the outcome - you can turn these one of a kind beauties into unusual organic shaped jewellery.
We generally melt down silver scrap and casting grain in our classes. Alternatively you can bring along your old jewellery to melt down too.
