The following terms and conditions apply to all persons attending workshops organised by Tracy Hills and Metal and Flame Jewellery School. Please ensure you have read and understood the following. Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected]
By placing a booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions as stated.
Classes are suitable for ages 16+, unless it is for a specified children's class.

We don't send out receipts or tickets for the workshops. All details are on line only.
3) CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
a) Student cancellations
You have the statutory 14 days to cancel or amend your booking. After this time a 50% refund or the option for another class will be offered - if cancelled more than two weeks before the class. No refunds or exchanges will be offered less than two weeks before the class commences. If you let us know early enough, we can offer your space for re-sale. We will try our best to sell it, and If we manage to do so, we will give you a voucher worth the full amount for another class. Alternatively, you're welcome to either transfer or sell your ticket to someone else. All we require is the name and email of your replacement so we can keep them updated.
b) Tutor cancellations
We hope this never happens, but if on the rare occasion we need to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstance, low student numbers or tutor illness, we will contact you within 24 hours of your scheduled class to inform you. We will offer you a full refund, or arrange another convenient date for for you to attend a class.
c) Missed classes:
PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer any refunds for missed classes. Should you miss any sessions due to illness or a holiday booked, we will allow one catchup class per course. I will try my best to try and fit you in another class for a catchup.

We will only communicate with you using the contact details provided on the booking form for the purposes of the workshops. We do not sell any information on to third parties.
9) TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
You are responsible for making and paying for your own travel arrangements to and from the workshop. If you are delayed or prevented from attending the class due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we are not obliged to provide you with a refund or to hold the start the class until you arrive.
10) MEDICAL OR DISABILITIES
If you have any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for you or any special dietary requirements, please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible.
11) COPYRIGHT
All workshops hosted and run by Tracy Hills and Metal and Flame are copyrighted. All content, information, works, publications and information given during these workshops are only to be used for private use. This information is not to be copied, duplicated, performed, reproduced, distributed, modified,
You are free use the information and to re-produce the jewellery we teach you for your own use. You are not permitted to use said information to copy our workshops, teach others or use the information in an educational format.
By booking onto any of our workshops and/or courses you have, by law, agreed to the above.

- Your booking fee secures your place - we cannot reserve places without payment. You can pay by Bacs.
- The fee for booking and attending the classes will be as stated on the booking form for the relevant workshop at the time and date stipulated. All payments for the classes must be made in full at the time of booking. We are unable to hold places open without full payment.
- For the longer courses, a payment plan can be put in place. Please contact me for various options. All courses will require a deposit, with the full amount paid two weeks before course dates. Deposits are non-refundable.

4) STUDIO RULES
- Safety is paramount. You must comply with all the workshop health and safety rules. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop - in which case no refund will be provided. You are required to wear safety glasses and closed shoes. No long scarves or chains, and long hair to be tied back.
- Strong chemicals are sometimes used – in which case in addition to the above safety rules, you may need to wear a mask and latex gloves. Please let me know if you are allergic to latex or anything else.
- You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the workshop.
- If you act in any way which could cause harm, or are a nuisance to any person at the workshop; or if you behave in an aggressive way or use foul language you will be required to leave the workshop and will not be liable for any refunds or any other payment.
- You may not cause any damage to any part of the venue (walls, ceiling, floors, fittings and fixtures, nor any tools or machinery). This includes the grounds. You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.
- You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the workshop by you.
- No food or drink at the work benches; however you can have bottled water with you.
- Our studio doors open 10 minutes before the class starts.
- Please arrive in good time for your session, not only so you do not miss important information, but also so there is no disruption to a class which may already be in progress. Aim to arrive about 5 - 10 minutes beforehand so you can find the studio and a parking slot, and can settle in so we can start promptly. All course start and finish times are advertised on the course page and will be confirmed in your confirmation email.
6) PROMOTION
- Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any promotional materials and any materials used at the workshop belongs to Tracy Hills Jewellery and Metal and Flame and may not be reproduced in any form without our prior written consent.
- We often hand out tutorials and information sheets during our classes. These are for your own use only, and you may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
7) PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
- You are able to photograph or film teacher demonstrations, but once again these are for your own use only, and you may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
