Class level: Introductory workshop, suitable for those with no previous experience and a great taster class for those taking their first steps into jewellery making. All ages welcome. You are never too young or old to learn a new skill. Outline: During this class you have the choice of making either 3 stacking rings or one thicker silver band. You can choose whether to leave them plain, or you can texture the bands using texture hammers or ring dies. For the stacking ring, We also have a selection of pre-patterned bands you can choose from. Each ring can be worn on its own, or all three stacked together. During this class you will learn traditional jewellery making techniques such as how to size, texture and solder the ring bands. The aim of this class is to give you the opportunity to make a piece of jewellery that you can take home and wear with pride. All materials provided.
We will also show you how you can cut out accents which you can solder onto your rings.
At the end of this course you will go home with either a solid band or 3 lovely stacking silver rings.
