Sea Glass Pendant

Class level:

Beginners welcome, but this class may suit  those who have some previous experience with soldering, or who have taken one of other taster classes already. But never fear - If you are a complete beginner our tutors will look after you and ensure that you leave the studio with a lovely finished piece. All ages over the age of 16 welcome. You are never too old to learn a new skill.

Outline:
During this class, you can either use your own sea glass, or you can choose  from our collection, which has been collected from beaches around the world.

You will learn how to size your stone and measure for your bezel setting. You will also have the option of having no back plate, which will allow more light  in. You will then make a bail and solder it onto your bezel. Polishing is the next step, before you set your sea glass. a tutor is always on hand to help and advise you.

This intimate unisex class which is held in our Liverpool workshop, is also a great environment to develop your creativity and do something fun with like-minded people. It also offers the opportunity to make lovely original gifts, and it might even be the start of a new career.

For those between the ages of 16-18 you will need written consent from a parent.
