Open Access Sessions

Intermediate and over.

We are offering open access workshops in our studio to our current and past students who would like an extra bit of bench time over the summer.  

We won't be teaching any new skills per se, but perfect if you wanted to come in for a couple of hours to complete your own project. Of course Keith and or I will be on hand to guide and help you. Our open access sessions are ideal for those who would like to:
  • Perfect an already learned technique
  • Get help and advice on any project
  • Need some bench time and the use of all the tools and torches
  • Got an urgent gift to make.
  • Experiment with all our new tools, and dies
Then this session might may suit you better than having to commit to a 6 week course.

There will be no more than 4 students per session.

Health and Safety
​As you all know, this is a workshop environment, so your well being and safety is important to us. To ensure this is a safe - but fun environment for you to learn in; we ask that you please:
  • Wear comfortable old clothing, or bring an apron. Ear defenders and safety glasses are provided.
  • Long hair to be tied back. 
  • No loose flowing scarves, long sleeves or jewellery to be worn. These can easily get caught up in machinery.
  • Closed flat shoes - no sandals allowed.
  • Spectacles, if needed for close up work.
Refreshments:
As usual, unlimited supply of tea, coffee and biscuits available through out the session.
