Karma Necklace
Karma is a Sanskrit term that means an action or doing. It is believed that our actions driven by intentions, lead to positive or negative consequences. In Buddhism, these intentions are believed to be considered in the cycle of rebirth - shown here with the circle pendant.
It is believed that wearing one of these necklaces allows us a constant reminder to be more mindful and considerate about our own positive karma. A little reminder to think about our actions in daily life. The circle pendant, known as Karma, Infinity or eternity, symbolises many things - circle of life, good karma, or what goes around, comes around. Some also believe that giving a circle pendant means eternal love. Whatever you'd like too call it - you will have the choice of making either 1 larger ring or 2 smaller layered rings. There are a variety of ways these can be joined together. Extra silver can be purchased from me on the day. With a maximum of 4 students, our classes are relaxed and friendly. You will learn how to size, shape and solder your sterling silver rings. You will also learn how to make wavy rings, should you choose that design or how to texture the pieces using stamps, tools and hammers. You will then attach your chain and polish your design. This intimate unisex class in our Liverpool workshop, is a great environment to develop your creativity and do something fun with like-minded people. The course runs for 3 hours, but can on occasion run over to allow students to complete their project. For students between the ages of 16-18 you will need written consent from a parent. |
