What to expect in this course: 

Some techniques covered in the course:​

​Refreshments Provided:
Tea, Coffee and biscuits provided.
Hand Tools used:
Each workbench will have all the tools needed to make your chosen piece - which includes a pendant drill, soldering station and overhead light with magnifier.

We also have other tools, such as a hydraulic press, pillar drill, bench grinder, rolling mill, and soldering station with a Little smiths torch and A Sievert torch

Materials provided:​
Consumables and an allocation of brass and copper supplied. 
What to Bring:
  • Wear old clothes, or bring an apron. Safety glasses will be provided.
  • Long hair to be tied back. 
  • No loose flowing scarves or jewellery (E.g. long chains or bracelets) to be worn. These can easily get caught up in machinery.
  • Closed flat shoes - no sandals.
  • Spectacles, if you need them for close up work.
  • Notebook and pencil. Although we do provide some hand outs, you may want to take your own notes.
A selection of tools and materials are available to purchase from me.​  I can also order metal and tools ahead of each class for you, provided you give me ample time to order.
